*WELCOME! Please read this before further exploring.

This is a simple blog on food sharing rather than recommendation. It's more for friends/people that i know. So do not expect so much from this blog here. ty

It'll be great if you have any restaurant or cafe that you wanna intro, feel free to share :)

However, i will still be giving rating for every restaurant/cafe that i come across.

Also please note that food rating is only given according to those food that what my friends and i had taken.

Most photos are taken by my phone, and not dslr. Also forgive me for the picture standard as my photography skills not there yet. I promise to improve on that :)

For safety purpose, if you wish to go to the location, please double check the opening hours on their webpage yourself.

Enquiries/comment box is located at the very bottom of the blog. Ty :)

Epicurious

Not just the name, the food here is unique too. They served western cuisine such as grill, pasta, burger, salads (i presume that's for dinner menu). Have yet to see the breakfast menu, heard they are good in their breakfast, they even won award for their breakfast by time out Singapore. Only realized these info before dinning there. Had dinner recently, the food here are special and great. Ordered Herb-roasted half chicken come with mushrooms, potatoes, grainy mustard sauce ($21), love the taste of the chicken, mushroom and potatoes, but i find the meat is too dry, it will be great if it serve with some herb sauce. My friend ordered the Spaghetti miso-prawn seared prawns with mushroom, miso and sherry cream sauce($17). A unique cream base dish, give it a try if you like creamy base pasta.

SWEE CHOON TIM SUM RESTAURANT

One of the best dim sum i had tried in Singapore so far. Better than some of the hotel/banquet dim sum? Try and judge it yourself. Been to this place since i was young, from just one small shop, they have brought over the next 3 shop at the side. This show how good their business is.

Not just the shop had expand, but the menu too :)
They have the best carrot cake! It's their signature dish. (Must try!) It just taste the same as before.
The red bean pancake is also a must try!

We order a lot of dishes, i.e. Carrot cake(goes well w the chilli sauce), Bao, Red bean pancake, Siew mai, Banana prawn roll, Golden tofu, Fried wanton and many more, cant really remember all the name.
i hope the picture will help :)

Spent about $13 per person.

Oriole Cafe & Bar

Regardless it's cafe or bar, it's still a very nice place to chill. Been to this cafe/bar a couple of times. I would prefer to have my seats inside. The ambiance is great inside!

Yet to try the main course over-here(let me know if the main course there is good if you have tried it)
I went there to chill out every visit.

I love the coffee here!

Tried:
*Chocolate Fudge Cake (rich chocolate ganache, almond rosette, raspberry saurce) (about $11) ,
*Banoffee In A Tumbler (Banana, salted toffee, peanut biscuit, vanilla ice cream, chocolate) ($12.5)
*Hand-Cut Potato Fries ($9) (Must try!)
*Coffee (Must try!)(average $5.5 per cup).

Nakhon Kitchen (Kovan)

One of the top few Thai restaurant you must try!
The last time i went, my friends have ala carte instead of main.
We had minced basil pork, tom yam soup, kai lan and chicken for 4.
Love all the dishes. The chicken are crispy. Basil pork very nice too.
The tom yam is a must try, heard green curry and pineapple fried rice is a must try too.
Each dish fall below the price of $10, about $5-$10? Can't reall recall.

The restaurant is non air-conditional. And most of the time there'll be queue.
Nearest MRT will be Kovan.
It's quite difficult to locate them, It's near Superbowl at kovan, you can ask around.
There's another outlet at bedok.

Drips Bakery Cafe

Went there recently for brunch with my friends.
We had 'All day breakfast', served w scrambled egg, ham, mushroom, tomato, beans and bread ($18.50), Black forest sandwich (about $13.50), Caffe latte ($4.8), Ice-shaken lemon tea($5) and Brownie with vanilla ice-cream($7.5). I personally think that the 'All day breakfast' is pretty normal, but the rest are good! Heard their pastries and cakes are really good. I like the brownie with ice-cream, the coffee are good too. Maybe should have come here for tea-break rather than breakfast. Give it a try and judge it yourself.

It's pretty difficult to locate them.
If you;re not driving. the nearest MRT station is Outram and you have to hop onto bus for 1 stop.

From what i know, weekend will be very crowded. Not very sure though.
